Hey there, Welcome to Pins and Swaddles!
I am Tshire

I help new and existing moms keep their babies safe, healthy, and happy with detailed, practical, and easy-to-apply tips.
Here you will find baby safety tips, baby health tips, and practical ideas on nurturing your baby’s well-being.
Soon after your baby is born, the excitement of having a bundle of joy gets interrupted by the anxiety of knowing her well-being, health, and safety all depend on you!
Suddenly you feel clueless and realize you don’t actually know what you are doing.
You constantly search for tips on what to do if she develops fever, dealing with skin and nappy rash, which solids to start feeding her…the list is endless!
Where do you start?
I am here to help you
I have gone through the headaches, trials, lots and lots of ‘oh I feel so helpless’ days. You don’t have to. I am on a mission to help your journey become less dreadful.
How?
Most of the topics I write about are problems I have encountered myself. I know there are thousands of mothers out there facing the same challenges. The tips and solutions that have worked for me can work for you as well.
My Background
I am an engineering graduate and safety management student turned stay-at-home mom.
After giving birth to my first baby, I was constantly paranoid that something might happen to her.
I would scan her surroundings to make sure she will be OK. I took it upon myself to make sure that she does not get hurt by anything I could’ve prevented.
Today it has become a 2nd nature to spot unsafe activities and unsafe items around my children.
Why did I start blogging?
Being a stay-at-home-mom is no joke! I have been doing it for over 3 years now, and sometimes the only thing that keeps you going is the happiness reflected on your baby’s smile.
I started this blog to encourage you, mom, to always make your baby’s safety your first priority.
The aim is to:
- help you make your baby’s world a safer place!
- help mothers to connect with each other
- share ideas (and bad days)
